There are two main causes of pain/joint problems. They can be from one off events such as:

  • Road traffic accidents.
  • Slips and falls.
  • Lifting heavy weights.
  • Sporting injuries.

Or as is commonly the case because of the things we do (or don’t do) everyday.

  • Sitting for long periods.
  • Poor posture/slouching, leg crossing etc.
  • Repetitive one sided actions.
  • Poor ergonomics or posture at the computer.
  • Carrying heavy weights, or bags on one shoulder.
  • Sleeping in a bed that is too hard or soft.
  • Sleeping with a pillow which is the incorrect height.
  • Lack of exercise.
