There are two main causes of pain/joint problems. They can be from one off events such as:
- Road traffic accidents.
- Slips and falls.
- Lifting heavy weights.
- Sporting injuries.
Or as is commonly the case because of the things we do (or don’t do) everyday.
- Sitting for long periods.
- Poor posture/slouching, leg crossing etc.
- Repetitive one sided actions.
- Poor ergonomics or posture at the computer.
- Carrying heavy weights, or bags on one shoulder.
- Sleeping in a bed that is too hard or soft.
- Sleeping with a pillow which is the incorrect height.
